World of Final Fantasy: How to Use Items in Battle

Not as straightforward as you think.

Items – World of Final Fantasy

In World of Final Fantasy, you can use items both in and outside of battle. When you’re just roaming about, using items is as easy as heading into your menu, and selecting them from your inventory. However, if you want to use potions or other restorative items in battle, that process is a little less straightforward.

The default battle menu in the game doesn’t give you access to your items. To use them, you’ll have to switch over to the classic menu style by tapping the left shoulder button on the PS Vita or DualShock 4. This will allow you to view all your actions and options in a boxed menu that will be familiar to long-time fans of the Final Fantasy series. With this menu system, players will then be able to select their items and use them accordingly. Do note that the game will automatically switch you back to the default menu system at the end of each turn, so you’ll have to hit the shoulder button every time you want to use the classic menu system again.

And there you have it, that’s how you can use items both in and outside of battle. Be sure to check back with Twinfinite for more tips, tricks, and information on World of Final Fantasy.
