There are quite a few weapons introduced with the Ashes of Ariandel expansion, but some of them are far better than others. When judging the best. we have to factor in both PvP and PvE play, along with their respective builds. Since every weapon can be dangerous in Dark Souls III, it’s important to recognize which ones offer more than just static power. If you are looking to change things up, these are the weapons we recommend picking up.

The Crow Quills are one of the most unique weapons introduced with this DLC thanks to their multi-purpose design. This rapier is fantastic for both PvE and PvP, as it allows players to keep enemies at a distance and perform some quick strikes. However, it’s when you add on the sharp daggers – which can be used as both a secondary close quarters weapon or a projectile – that the real power of this weapon appears.

By chaining a variety of jabs, slashes, and dagger throws you are able to obliterate opponent’s health bars and constantly keep them guessing. Giving this weapon a Bleed effect only makes it more dangerous, as the speedy nature of this weapon’s move-set will allow you unleash tremendous amounts of damage at once.
