Zero Time Dilemma was released on the PC, PS Vita and 3DS earlier this year, and it marked the conclusion of the Zero Escape series, otherwise known as one of the greatest visual novels of all time. However, it looks like Aksys Games isn’t quite done with the series just yet. The company took to Twitter and teased that more news about the series would be coming this October.
Series creator Kotaro Uchikoshi had previously teased that 999 would be getting a port, possibly on PC and the PS Vita. Virtue’s Last Reward, the second game in the series is already on the Vita and 3DS, but has yet to make an appearance on PC. Considering the budgeting problems the series has faced in the past, it seems unlikely that we’ll be getting yet another game in the series, so a port announcement is far more likely.
Whatever it is, we’ll be keeping an eye on the Aksys Twitter account, and we’ll keep you updated as more news comes our way. What else are you hoping to see from the Zero Escape series? Feel free to let us know in the comments down below.
