Ashes of Ariandel is the first DLC coming to Dark Souls III, and it’s supposed to released for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25. However, the Sun did not smile upon us, and it looks like the DLC has leaked early on the Xbox One. Just as Xbox One players were able to download the Japanese version of the game early and in English, it seems that history has repeated itself with this additional content pack.
At the time of writing, Xbox One users will be able to purchase the DLC and play through its entirety a whole four days before its official release. It’s unlikely that Microsoft will lock the game at this point, considering there’s only four days to go, and the fact that nothing was really done to stop English-speaking players from downloading the base game early back in April of this year.
PS4 and PC fans will have to wait till October 25 to play Ashes of Ariandel. Till then, stay wary of spoilers.
