Rise of the Tomb Raider was featured at the PlayStation Meeting today, and Crystal Dynamics has announced that the game will have three different viewing modes in the PS4 Pro version of the game. Check out the new footage down below.
First up, 4K Mode is for those with 4K TVs. This will allow you to play the game in 4K resolution. There’s also ‘High Frame Rate Mode,’ which locks the game at 1080p, but with an unlocked frame rate. Lastly, there’s ‘Enhanced Visuals Mode,’ which locks the game at 30fps, but will feature every rendering technique to make the game look better. It’s pretty heavy duty stuff, from the sounds of it.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is set to be released for the PS4 on October 11, and it will come with PSVR support, and a bunch of new content and DLCs. The game is already available on the Xbox One and Windows 10, and it will be receiving PS4 Pro support this year as well.
