ReCore – Upgrading Corebots

Recommended Videos

Your Corebots will be by your side through thick and thin in ReCore and are an invaluable asset when trying to get around the world. As you progress through your adventure, you’ll start to come up against more formidable enemies. Here’s how to upgrade your Corebots so they can still be effective in battle.

First things first, it’s important to note that there are actually two different ways you can upgrade your Corebots.

The first is by extracting the cores of your enemies and using them to charge your bots’ fusion cores. To do this, simply extract the core as we’ve detailed in the link above and then head to the workbench inside your Crawler. When you get here, all you need to do is go to the Core Fusion menu and select the Corebot you wish to increase the stats of. Then, simply hold down the A button to pour Fusion Energy into whichever stat bar you wish to increase. The more you pour in, the higher the level. You’ll also want to make sure you’re leveling up your Corebots in combat, as this will increase the max rank that each stat can be.

The other way to upgrade your Corebots is by upgrading the different parts that make them up. To do this, you’ll need to find blueprints out in the world and then head back to your workbench once again. Here, you’ll need to open up the Blueprint menu and then select the blueprint you wish to craft. As long as you’ve got all the necessary crafting components, the new part will be stored in your workbench. Press B to exit the Blueprint menu and then select the Corebots menu. Now click on the Corebot you crafted the new part for, select that part on their body and select the new component. This will replace the existing component and improve your Corebot’s stats.

That’s all there is to upgrading your Corebots and having the very best machines by your side.
