When things aren’t quite working out with your Ultimate Team in FIFA 17, you’ll be willing to try anything different, even if that means betraying your trusty captain and trying someone else in the role.

We should note first that changing your captain doesn’t seem to have any effect on how your team performs in Ultimate Team in FIFA 17, nor has it made a difference in the past few games. However, if you’re looking to make a bit of a change or just want your favorite player calling the shots in your team, this is how you do it.

First off, bring up your Ultimate Team squad that you want to change the captain for. Then press Triangle/ Y and then select the Player Roles option. From here, you’ll simply need to select the Captain option and choose the player you want to take the all-important role in your squad.

It may not make an actual difference to the way your team plays, but at least you’ll know that your favorite player is in the position they deserve.

That’s all there is to changing your captain in FIFA 17. For more tips, tricks, and guides for FIFA 17 keep it locked to Twinfinite.
