Dragon Quest Builders, the upcoming Dragon Quest RPG from Square Enix which incorporates building and surviving elements from games like Minecraft, now has a demo up on the PSN store in North America. If you’ve got a PS4 or a PS Vita, you’ll be able to download the demo and check out the beginning stage of the game yourself.
I got to play the game at E3 earlier this year, and the beginning stage has you learn the very basics of crafting, combat, and house-building. You’ll also get to battle it out with some blue slimes too. You’ll also get to restore a town on your own, battle tons of monsters, and check out the large open world available in the game. It’s pretty neat, and also a nice introduction to the Dragon Quest series if you’re unfamiliar with it.
Dragon Quest Builders is set to be released for the PS4 and PS Vita on October 11 in North America, and on October 14 in Europe.
