Titanfall 2 is one of the most anticipated shooters of 2017 and many gamers can’t wait to start waging war in giant mechs. For those of you itching with anticipation, you’ll be pleased to learn that Titanfall 2 has officially gone gold.
The news was confirmed via Twitter by Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella who congratulated the team.
When a game goes gold it means that work on the main game is finished and retail discs can start being produced. The dev team will now begin work on either a day one patch or future DLC. Then they can take a well earned break!
Titanfall 2 will be released on October 28 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It will be going up against two other highly popular first-person shooter, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Battlefield 1.
