God Eater 2: Rage Burst – How to Double Jump

Double Jump – God Eater 2: Rage Burst

Recommended Videos

Mobility will often spell the difference between victory and defeat in God Eater 2: Rage Burst. You’ll have to rely on running, dodging, jumping, and flanking in order to get the edge over some of the more powerful Aragami you’ll face. One particularly handy ability is double jumping, but it isn’t instantly available.

In order to be able to use the double jump ability, you’ll first have to trigger Burst mode. This is done by devouring a living Aragami, using a Burst Inducer consumable, or having a party member use a Blood Art that triggers Burst mode. Once triggered you will now be able to double jump by pressing X/A when already in the air. This can be used to get to higher locations quicker, or to deal with pesky flying enemies such as Zygotes.

Burst also offers other benefits, listed below.

  • Raises movement speed and step distance.
  • Increases Attack.
  • Increases Attack speed.
  • Increases Defense
  • Adds passive recovery of Oracle Power.
  • Lowers the chance of getting knocked back (only really powerful Aragami can cause this now).
  • Lowers stamina consumption.

Remember, once your Burst expires, you will be unable to use this ability again until its re-activated.
