Today at San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Bros unveiled the first poster for Wonder Woman. After making her first appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice earlier this year, the third part of the DC Trinity is finally getting a solo flick of her own. Like the tagline says, the poster evokes power, grace, and wonder as the titular heroine stands alone on the battlefield.
Set in 1918 during World War I, Gal Gadot plays Diana, the princess of the all-female island of Themyscira. She ends up making her way to Man’s World, where she’ll fight and eventually become so disillusioned with humanity that she hangs up her tiara and gauntlets. She’ll then join the Justice League, which is slated for a November 2017 release.
Wonder Woman comes to theaters on June 2, 2017. Her trailer will drop tomorrow, during DC’s movie panel. Stay tuned to Twinfinite for more Comic-Con news.
