Resident Evil 4 will be arriving on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this August 30th, Capcom has announced.
Tim Turi, a social media specialist with the company, revealed the news via a blog post on the Campcom website.
The game will be a straight-up port of the original version, rather than a fully-fledged remaster, but you can likely expect trophy/achievement support as an added bonus.
Also included with the game are Ada’s side-story, Mercenaries Mode, New Game Plus mode and various extra costumes and weapons.
No price point has yet been given, but Resident Evil 5 currently sits at $20 on current-gen consoles, so we can probably anticipate the same kind of price range.
Resident Evil 4’s port follows the re-releases of Resident Evil 5 and 6, as well as the surprise announcement of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard at E3 last month, which you can play the demo of for free right now on current-gen consoles and PC.
Capcom also released a bunch of hi-res screenshots of the game in action, which you can check out on their Facebook page right here.
