Gravity Rush 2 Releasing this December in Japan

But when do we get to fall again?

Sony hosted a Gravity Rush 2 event in Tokyo today, where attendees got to play the game, listen to some sweet music from the series, and also learn the game’s Japanese release date. According to Twitter user Ars, who was present at the event, Gravity Rush 2 will be released in Japan on December 1.

Last week, there was an Amazon listing for the game, which also stated it would be released on December 1, so here’s your official confirmation that the game will indeed be launching this year. Event attendees were also treated to yummy Gravity Drops candies which seem to be exclusive to Japan, unfortunately.

We don’t have a release date for North America and other English-speaking territories just yet, but hopefully an announcement and the release date itself won’t be too far behind Japan’s.

Gravity Rush 2 will see the return of Kat and Raven as they find themselves in a brand new cel-shaded city, and get to experiment with different variations of their gravity power. The game will be exclusive to the PS4.
