It has been confirmed that Titanfall 2 will include a single-player mode that will explore the bond between human and titan.
The mode was finally confirmed by head of Respawn Entertainment, Vince Zampella, at EA’s Play event that opened E3 weekend. Zampella commented on the leak of the single-player mode that happened this morning, saying: “For the four people that didn’t see the leak this morning.”
Alongside the confirmation of the single-player mode, a new gameplay trailer was released that showed off some new titan abilities. You can see the trailer below.
Before the confirmation of the single-player mode, a new trailer was shown that showcases the changes that are coming to multiplayer in Titanfall 2. It showed off new abilities, more titans, and more varied battlefields.
We already expected that a single-player mode would be coming to the second game and it will be interesting to see how story driven it is.
Titanfall 2 will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 28, 2016.
