Eat Your Food

In Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, food restores your HP, increases your max HP, and gives you experience points as well. Whenever you’ve just gotten out of a battle and you need to heal up, don’t waste your Healing Tonics, eat your food instead. It’s not really a problem early on in the game, but you’ll find that the enemies will rise in levels much quicker than you do as you progress. While your level doesn’t really matter too much, and you can afford being four or five levels below an area’s boss, it’s still important to try to keep up as much as you can.

Some food items will leave you with disposable items too. For instance, napples will leave you with napple cores and chickens will leave you with chicken bones. If you don’t need these distraction items, be sure to clear them from your inventory by discarding them, or they’ll take up valuable space.
