Konami was serious about moving away from console games, and they’ve proven it with their announcement of a Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater pachinko game. The new trailer, which you can check out down below, shows off the iconic scene where Naked Snake faces The Boss for the final time, and I have to say, the HD-fied graphics actually look kinda nice. Well, with the exception of The Boss looking a little washed out.
Konami hasn’t given any details about how this Snake Eater pachinko game will work, but it’s looking like it will simply be a gambling game with some famous MGS3 cutscenes being spliced into it. It’s likely that the pachinko game will only be released in Japan, and will not be coming to the west.
The brand new Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater pachinko game will be dropping in autumn this year. So, MGS fans, what are your thoughts on this unique ‘remaster’ of one of the best games in the series? Let us know in the comments down below.
