EA and DICE showed off a lot of cool stuff during their live stream of Battlefield 1. The WWI shooter didn’t get a whole lot of gameplay footage outside of the one trailer, but the trailer itself isn’t anything to complain about. Patrick Soderlund said that it was all done in engine, and it definitely looks gorgeous. Check it out below.
The trailer may lack the classic Battlefield musical sting at the end, but it more than makes up for it with all the gonzo action going on. Horses, bayonets, flamethrowers, and blimps all show up here, and it’s amazing. Plus, biplanes! Who doesn’t love to fly around and shoot at friends with biplanes? Definitely can’t complain about that at all, especially when it’s set to Glitch Mob’s version of “Seven Nation Army”. All of this, combined with the 64-player multiplayer and “epic scale“, is gonna make for one really fun game. Plus…shovels to the face.
Battlefield 1 will come to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 21. Excited? Let us know in the comments below.
