Earlier today on their Japanese website, Nintendo announced that Super Smash Bros. is getting a new patch later this month.
According to the website, those who have the previous 1.1.5 patch will need 61 MB for the Wii U version of the game. Others will need 3.1 GB of free space if this is the first patch being downloaded.
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, Nintendo has yet to reveal what the patch will contain, only noting on their website that it will “adjust the game balance.” The upcoming patch also won’t be able to play any replay data that they’ve saved from patch 1.1.5.
As mentioned before, patch 1.1.6 will be available before the month of May is done. Make sure to clear out some space on your Wii U so you can enjoy the most up-to-date Super Smash Bros. experience.
