The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has seen its fair share of both free and paid DLC. Geralt’s adventure is going to be drawing to a close soon with the release of the game’s final expansion pack, Blood and Wine.
The new expansion takes place in the region of Toussaint, a place bathed in sunlight with rolling fields and vineyards. The land is a place of celebration and revelry separated from the war, but there’s a dark secret Toussaint holds at night. Blood and Wine’s launch trailer shows us some of the terrible creatures stalking the region, and what Geralt’s been brought to slay. The music for the trailer switches between softer tones to a harsh electric guitar, matching the duality of Toussaint itself. Take a look at it down below.
The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine launches on May 31 for $19.99 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Another trailer for the expansion gives you a look at both the beauty and horror of Toussaint, and you can also hear the main theme of Blood and Wine here. CD Projekt Red also recently talked about how there won’t any more Witcher any time soon.
