After a whole year’s worth of content, CD Projekt Red has revealed that their latest expansion, Blood and Wine, will be the final piece of story content coming to the main game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
When asked if players can expect any further content after the release of Blood and Wine, Lead Director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, told Eurogamer, “No, this is the last thing we deliver” as the developers switch their focus onto their next project, Cyberpunk 2077.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s next piece of story content, Blood and Wine is set to release later this month on May 31, and will offer a ton of new quest, enemies, and will be set in a brand new region called Toussaint, which is as big as all of the Skellige Islands combined. The expansion will also be a step ahead in terms of graphics, with the new region introducing improved graphics and noticeably improved grass effects.
