Play Practice Games Against the AI

First, the obvious reason for why you should play against the AI: It gives you a chance to see what it’s like to go up against other Battleborn heroes. While the story is full of various enemy types, they lack the special skills that only another hero can bring to a fight. You can adjust the difficulty to feel the brunt of their powers so that you can build strategies against certain types during specific modes.

Playing private games against the AI does not contribute to trophies/achievements or your Commander Rank, but you can level up heroes this way. Leveling up heroes unlocks skins as well as Helix Mutations which grant new, powerful options during Augmentation.
