If you’re going to want to change up the weapon you’re using, always keep in mind that this can be done on the fly with one of the four D-Pad buttons. However, you need to have set these to whichever you want to use, so be sure to assign them. If you want to use any of the other weapons, you’ll need to hold down triangle and wait for the weapon wheel to load up. This process is quick and is a tiny respite in the action that will give you a moment to think about what you want to use. It’s how you’ll have access to your entire arsenal. Simply keep holding triangle, maneuver and highlight the weapon you want, and let go of triangle. You’ll be using the new weapon you designated.

Always remember that different weapons are better for different enemies. Additionally, you’ll have a lot of area of effect gadgets that you’ll want to toss out before you start wrecking with any direct weapons.
