It seems that Sony Interactive Entertainment is working on a new PlayStation Store design. Word of this comes following a bunch of screenshots images of what looks like a fresh new take on Sony’s online store.
The screenshots come courtesy of DualShockers and show that store pages may have a multi-layered design to them, where trailers play in the background. The age restriction and download size are also clearer than before, with the size going down to its exact GB, whereas before it would be rounded off. A Game Broadcasts button can also be seen which, we can only assume will take players straight to streams of the game being played.
Unfortunately, the new pages have now been replaced with the old ones. It looks like it may have been an error on Sony’s part considering DualShockers noticed a number of mistakes in these store pages. We will just have to wait and see what Sony have to say about all this, and we will keep you updated. Take a look at a couple of the screenshots of the potential new design.
