Enter the Gungeon will be releasing next month on the PlayStation 4, and PC, as announced in a new gameplay trailer released by publisher Devolver Digital.
The rogue-like dungeon crawler will be simultaneously releasing on both platforms April 5, and will also work on Mac, and Linux platforms. The announcement was made alongside a gameplay trailer uploaded by Devolver Digital, which shows what you can expect from the game.
With Enter the Gungeon being a rogue-like with a combat focus on guns, it isn’t surprising to see some of the equipment you can potentially get be showcased as a feature. Both enemies, and allies are shown, with the Steam store page for the game showing local co-op as a feature. As fans of the rogue-like genre have come to expect, the bosses will provide a big challenge, as it looks like there could be a lot of bullets to dodge.
The game has been compared to Nuclear Throne, and to a lesser extent Binding of Isaac, both of which are very popular games within the genre.
