There are plenty of ways to earn rewards in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. One of those ways is to increase your Player Rank. As you reach different tiers you’ll be able to earn rewards that will help you on your mission to unlock absolutely everything that PvZ: Garden Warfare 2 has to offer.
The rewards for ranking up are:
- 10+: Helpful Fun Pack
- 25+: Wondrous Pack of Greatness
- 50+: Phenomenal Character Pack
- 100+: Century Pack
- 313: Unicorn Chomper
You’ll definitely want these rewards if you’re a fan, especially that extraordinarily rare Unicorn Chomper. In order to unlock the tiers, you’ll need to pick out your favorite characters and start leveling them up. Every time one of your characters levels up, you earn a level as well. Now you may be thinking that you’ll have to play with every single character, but don’t worry.
Each character can be promoted (think prestige) five times. So you’ll be able to go from 1-10 a total of six times per character, each time unlocking something new. So you’ll need to completely level up six characters in order to reach max Rank (313), or you can spread it out accordingly.
Promoting a character does not count as leveling up, and you will not earn any Rank while playing with a max level character or one awaiting promotion. You can check out our guide on how to quickly level up your characters in order to see yourself rolling in loyalty rewards in no time.
One thing to note is that you as a player can also be promoted, and that will earn you a shiny new plaque for your name. Players defeated by you will get to see it in all its glory when you vanquish them in any game mode. You can promote yourself whenever you pass Player Rank 100.
