Back in October, Ubisoft announced Far Cry Primal, a new entry in their series that’ll take players to 10,000 BC. As Takkar, the only survivor of his hunting group, players will be taken to a time when animals ruled the Earth. If that didn’t sound a bit awesome during the first announcement, maybe seeing some actual footage will help.
Geoff Keighley announced today that the game will be get a gameplay reveal at The Game Awards next Wednesday, December 3rd. It’s one of 10 planned world premieres during the awards show. This is good news, since Far Cry as a series is based on guns and binoculars, while Far Cry Primal has…definitely not those. It’ll be interesting to see how they work with the more limited setting, especially with binoculars.
Far Cry Primal hits the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on February 23, 2016. You excited? Let us know in the comments below. And tell us who you think will win in the Game Awards! We’ve already got some predictions.
