Chivalry: Medieval Warfare

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare Swings onto the Xbox One, PS4 in December

Tis but a next-generational scratch

Online versions of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare Ultimate Edition will hit the Xbox One and PlayStation this coming December. A single day between each version’s release as the Xbox One version launches December 1st and PlayStation 4 on December 2nd. For those inclined to pre-order Chivalry: Medieval Warfare on current-generation consoles, pre-purchase opens November 25th for the Xbox One only.

The press release informed the Xbox One/PS4 version will have “24-person online multiplayer, over 25 maps, dedicated server support and a new horde mode for teams of up to six.” Meanwhile, several of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare’s DLC packs will be included such as Barbarian Character Pack, Marauding Arbiter Pack, Inquisitive Dreadnaught Bundle and Barbarian Weapon Pack; although, some cosmetic DLC packs are sold separately.

Developer and Publisher Torn Banner Studios sought after Activision to help publish the gory multiplayer medieval mess to consoles just like the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. It is important to note the original version featured multiplayer matches up to 32 players rather the current console’s slated limit of 24. Additionally, the press release did not mention any graphical improvements.
