Were the Prescotts Involved with the Storm at All?

With the release of the trailer for Life Is Strange Episode 4: Dark Room, along with the bunker reveal in that same episode, many were led to believe that the Prescott family had something to do with the storm in Max’s vision. In the trailer, Nathan was heard shouting at Max, Chloe, and Warren, telling them that they’re “all gonna die” in the storm that was coming, though it is worth noting that this bit of dialogue was cut from the actual game.

Furthermore, the existence of the Prescotts’ bunker itself seemed highly suspicious. I guess you could argue that the bunker was simply built in preparation for any possible natural disasters in Arcadia Bay, and the Prescotts were simply a red herring in the grand scheme of things. I might be reading a little too much into this, but these little hints make me think that perhaps Dontnod Entertainment initially had some form of backstory or plot planned for the Prescotts.
