Halo 5: Guardians will not have any story based DLC released in the future, according to 343 Industries studio head Josh Holmes.
Halo is a franchise rich with lore and story but it seems the story told in Halo 5’s main game is all we’re going to get. Depending on whether you liked or disliked the game’s story, this could either be a good or a bad thing.
“While we’re always looking for new ways to expand the Halo universe, we do not currently have any plans to release future campaign content for Halo 5: Guardians,” Holmes said, speaking to Red Bull.
No doubt 343 Industries will release several new map packs for the game’s multiplayer but it looks like we’ve had our lot when it comes to the single player.
Halo 5: Guardians was released exclusively on the Xbox One on October 27. It has received strong reviews and appears to be a worthy installment in the Halo series.
