New Fallout 4 SPECIAL Video Teases Endurance

The greater your endurance, the further you can go!

With Fallout 4 fast approaching, Bethesda has taken to its S.P.E.C.I.A.L. video series to get everyone nice and hyped. S.P.E.C.I.A.L. is Fallout 4’s main attribute system covering strength, perception, endurance, charisma, intelligence, agility, and luck. The latest video in the series highlights endurance, which modifies a player’s hit points, their poison and radiation resistance, and the Big Guns and Unarmed skills.

As we can see, the expected ability to drink water and eat the meat off of wasteland monsters will be make its return. Whether or not this video confirms that hardcore mode (which added basic needs for food and water to the gameplay) will make its return as well has yet to be revealed. However, it certainly does cover the basics of endurance that longtime players of the series should be familiar with.

Fallout 4 is set to release November 10 on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Recently, the special edition Loot Crate details were revealed, and Bethesda gave us a peek behind the scenes with dogmeat. Along with the classic attributes for the series, there will be a new perk system coming to Fallout 4, too.
