Horizon Zero Dawn was announced at E3 earlier this year by Guerrilla Games and will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive that will launch some time next year. The gameplay trailer shown at E3 got us pretty excited and we can’t wait to get our hands on the game. However, those who are hoping to get more details on the game will have to wait.
In a recent interview, Senior Producer of the game Mark Norris explained that fans shouldn’t expect any big announcements revealing details about Horizon Zero Dawn. Norris said that he’s rather people experience the game for themselves.
“You will know everything about the Old Ones and you will also find out where the machines are and why. You will also learn about the relationship between Aloy and the machine. But I’m not going to say anything about it in advance. Players should experience it all themselves and find out,” he said.
Norris said that he believes showing off too much of a game can do harm to it and he gave the trailer for Fallout 4 as an example. “There isn’t a greater Fallout fan than me, I always talk a lot about Vault-111 and I even have a Vault 111-Hoodie. And they have showed in the trailer when the bomb struck. And I said, no, why did you do that? You ruined the whole mystery for me that Fallout always had,” he said.
