Bernd Diemer, the former Director of Dead Island 2, has joined Guerrilla Games to help create the studio’s new title Horizon: Zero Dawn. Diemer has previously worked at Crytek and, more recently, Yager Development, and has now joined Guerrilla Games to work on the hotly anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn.
Diemer announced the news via Twitter, though he did not specify what his role within the company was.
Horizon: Zero Dawn was first announced at the Sony conference of this year’s E3 and puts players in the shoes of a character named Aloy who uses her bow to hunt giant robotic dinosaurs. It was recently announced by Guerrilla Games that major details about the game will not be revealed anytime soon and that the company wants players to experience the game for themselves. A recent live demo was also shown at the Tokyo Game Show just a few days ago.
