Sony has just released a brands new trailer for the upcoming PS4 remaster of the Uncharted series which will be released as Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. The trailer shows off the single player story mode of the series, from Nathan Drake’s humble beginnings as a pickpocket to the treasure hunter we know today.
A new post has been published on the official PlayStation Blog that gives us more insight into the game. The Nathan Drake Collection has been years in the making and will feature enhanced gameplay and graphics for the PS4. This will truly be the ultimate way to experience the Uncharted games.
The games have received various improvements in lighting, rendering, texture mapping and dynamic audio. You will be able to see all this not just as you play the game, but also in the photo mode which will be included.
The collection will also feature new trophies and game modes such as Explorer, Speed Run, and Brutal Modes which will serve to welcome new players and challenge the veterans.
Explorer Mode will feature reduced difficulty in combat and will allow new players to focus on the story and exploration.
Speed Run Mode adds a timer to levels and allows players to speed run the game and compare their times online against friends.
Brutal Difficulty Mode will be the ultimate challenge for Uncharted players and will be unlocked after beating the Crushing difficulty mode.
All the unlockable skins and bonus features from previous games will return and the collection will also give buyers access to the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End online multilayer beta.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is due to be released on October 7 for the PlayStation 4.
