There’s just something about colorful fire in the sky that puts the cherry on top of an already pretty great day. Of course, not everyone has access to fireworks on the 4th of July due to a long list of reasons, but that’s what video games are for.
Take the Firework Launcher in Grand Theft Auto V, for instance. From afar, it may look like any old rocket launcher ready to explode the soul of anyone foolish enough to cross its path. But up close, it turns out that it is a festive tool… that is ready to explode the soul of anyone foolish enough to cross its path. But, who says you have to be a death-dealing maniac on the 4th of July? Grab a couple of friends, maybe a couple of beers from the nearest store, head to one of Los Santos’ many rooftops and put some lights in the air.
