Just like last time around with Disney Infinity 2: Marvel Super Heroes, the third installment in the franchise is adding some new characters. Aside from Ultron, characters from Tron: Legacy and the upcoming film Inside Out, the cast of Star Wars will be joining the roster lineup. Characters from the prequel and original trilogies will be showing up, and now we’ve learned the cast of Star Wars Rebels will be joining as well.
Star Wars Rebels is Disney XD’s CG series that premiered last October and is set to have a one hour movie event to kick off its second season next weekend. Set 15 years between episodes III and IV, the series follows a band of rebels led by former padawan Kanan Jarrus. Him, his apprentice Ezra Bridger, Zeb Orelios, and Sabine Wren will be playable in the Star Wars playsets. Whether they’ll be in the opening wave or if the other two members of their team, Hera Syndulla and their droid Chopper, will be playable is unknown. Guess we’ll find out when Disney Infinity 3 hits all systems this fall.
