Capcom recently announced that they will be starting the Street Fighter V Beta program for the PS4 on July 23. PC owners will have to wait a little longer as their beta won’t begin until this fall.
How players will be able to take part in the beta testing will be different depending on where they live, but in North America players will be able to sign up by pre-ordering the game from Gamestop/Amazon/Best Buy or on the PSN. After pre-ordering the game, the beta redemption keys will be e-mailed to participants on July 20.
Latin American players can get guaranteed access to the beta by pre-ordering Street Fighter V on the PSN and by doing so they won’t need to redeem a beta key. Instead, they’ll have to manually download the beta client from the PSN store starting on July 20.
Asian regions and Japan will be able to sign into the beta by downloading the “Street Fighter V Closed Beta Test Ticket” at the PlayStation Store. Japanese gamers will be able to download the Closed Beta Test Ticket from July 8 until July 13 while other Asian regions will be able to download it between July 9 until July 14. Finally players in Europe and everywhere else can enroll for the Street Fighter V Beta here.
