Red Hood is Popping Caps in a New Arkham Knight Trailer

Kickin' butt and poppin' caps. And wearing a weird hood, helmet thing.

Last week provided a small glimpse of the Red Hood’s gameplay in Batman: Arkham Knight. The former Robin turned vigilante is playable for the first time in the final installment to Rocksteady’s trilogy. Like Harley Quinn, however, this will only happen if you pre-order Arkham Knight at Gamestop. Now, we’ve got a real look at what you’ll be doing as Red Hood thanks to this new trailer. Going off of it, he controls mostly like Batman with guns. He bursts into rooms, performs combos and takedowns, and even has his own kind of X-ray mode built into his helmet hood thing. For long range attacks, it looks like he’ll be relegated primarily to pistols, and he’ll be able to use them while in midair to pump enemies full of lead. It’s safe to say that Black Mask’s guys are pretty boned.

Red Hood and Harley may be pre-order bonuses, but you’ll still have plenty of characters to play as when you buy Arkham Knight. In addition to the Caped Crusader himself, you’ll have Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman to play as, and the season pass adds Batgirl into the mix. Arkham Knight arrives on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in two weeks. You ready?
