E3 has begun and Bethesda kicked things off with a fantastic start by giving us loads of juicy new details on Fallout 4. Not only did we get an extensive look at the gameplay, we also got a release date.
That’s not the only thing Fallout fans got excited about. As we reported earlier, there will be a collectors edition of Fallout 4 which was unveiled at E3. This edition comes with a replica Pip-Boy which you can insert your phone into and use like you’re in Fallout 4. An app will be released which you can download to give you phone a Pip-Boy style to it.
Exactly what the Pip-Boy edition would include (other than the Pip-Boy) and how much it will cost wasn’t announced at the reveal, however Bethesda has just published a new post on their website which gives us more details on this awesome collectors edition.
According to Bethesda, the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition includes:
- Pip-Boy Replica, Stand and Capsule Case. This wearable device faithfully replicates the in-game model and comes complete with RobCo Industries stand, custom-printed capsule, adjustable foam cuff, rotating knobs and lights. Designed to accommodate a variety of smartphone devices with customizable foam inserts, the Pip-Boy is the ultimate accessory for the official Pip-Boy companion mobile app that allows players to manage their in-game inventory, perks, holotapes, and more.
- Physical Pip-Boy Pocket Guide. Featuring handy illustrations and chock full of Vault-Tec® approved tips, this manual is the ultimate how-to pocket guide for using and maintaining your new Pip-Boy.
- Physical Vault-Tec® Perk Poster. Keep track of your perks with your very own physical Vault-Tec perk poster, fully-colorized retro fun for the quintessential Wasteland survivor.
- Power Armor Collectable Metal Packaging. Exclusive to the Pip-Boy Edition, this decorated metal case is the ultimate fan collectible.
The Pip-Boy edition will is currently available to pre-order and will cost $119.99 (US), €129.99 (Europe), £99.99 (UK), and AUS $189.95 (Australia). The post states that supplies are limited and that gamers interested in getting this edition should pre-order as soon as possible.
