The Witcher 3 is less than two weeks away and we can’t wait to embark on our fantasy quest as Geralt of Rivia and start slaying monsters and engage in political intrigue.
The developer, CD Projekt RED, has released numerous gameplay videos and trailers for the game and from what we’ve seen, it looks great. However, some console gamers have felt concern over the fact that all the gameplay videos have shown The Witcher 3 running on the PC version of the game.
Given how close we are to the release of the game, fans have questioned why CD Projekt RED has not released a gameplay video that shows how the game performs on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
CD Projekt RED recently stated that it felt very confident about the console versions of the game and certainly weren’t trying to hide anything. It seems that really is the case as an official gameplay video of the PlayStation 4 version of the game has been released, and it looks great.
The visuals are stunning and the gameplay seems as smooth and intuitive as it does in PC gameplay videos. Obviously, the PC version of the game will be the most powerful version (if you’ve got the right hardware) but it seems no matter what platform you play The Witcher 3 on, you’re going to have a great time.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is due to be released on May 19th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
