Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, Blizzard’s incredibly addictive card game, has finally made its way to iPhone and Android phones today. Blizzard made the game available on iPad’s since April last year and Android tablets since December, wanted the game even more portable? Blizzard have answered your calls.
Blizzard announced today that the mobile port of Hearthstone, was finally ready and available on both iOS and Android mobile phones. That’s right, now you can take the super addictive online card game with you wherever you go. Want to play on the train? Bam! Blizzard to the rescue!
The mobile version of the game features a redesigned interface to make it playable on much smaller screens, always nice to see a developer go about a port properly, taking into account the limitations and differing features of different mobile devices.
Oh and don’t be worrying about having to start your card collection again either, because as with the other versions on iPad, Windows PC, Mac and tablet, player’s card collections remain tied to their Battle.net account. So you can finish playing a game on your PC before hitting the streets and starting a new game, without any faffing around or problems of having to make any unwanted changes to your collection.
To celebrate the launch of the game, Blizzard announced that anyone who finishes one full game of Hearthstone will receive a free classic card park, a similar promotion that they have going for doing so on iPad and Android tablets.
If Hearthstone isn’t showing up on app store searches don’t worry, Blizzard have announced it may take a while for the game to show up on searches. Patience is a virtue.
