Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Guide: How to Play as Seven

Having said that, getting to an enemy quickly will be no problem for Seven once you purchase her Snakebite ability. Snakebite allows her to target a foe and strike her whipblade at them, effectively tethering the enemy to her. After that, you have the option to either reel the enemy towards you or launch Seven herself to the enemy. Do note that while Seven can launch herself at any foe, there are certain types of enemies that she will not be able to reel in. Heavy foes such as the flan cannot be reeled in and you’ll have to go to them instead.

Another ability you should consider investing in is Elementalash. This skill allows Seven to imbue her whipblade with magic, making her effective even against physical-resistant foes. Investing in this skill and unlocking its Frostlash and Thunderlash upgrades should make her pretty useful against the game’s variety of magical foes.

If you want to use Seven as a solo character, it might also be a good idea to grab Drainlash and Osmoselash. These abilities allow her to deal damage to her enemies while absorbing HP and MP respectively. A good attack combination for her is to use Drainlash and then Frostlash immediately after that, given her affinity with ice magic.

She has other status-inflicting abilities such as Livewire and Sadistic Spikes that allow her to stun and stop enemies. Seven’s wide repertoire of abilities makes her a very versatile character who is able to adapt to almost any kind of situation.

In case of emergencies, Seven also has access to Curaga so there’s always the option to quickly heal yourself if you ever need it. Considering that Seven isn’t the most durable brawler you have in Class Zero, exercise caution when dealing with powerful enemies and make sure to keep her out of harm’s way.
