Another offensive ability you can grab for Ace is Blind Stud, which allows him to lay a card and activate it for damage when enemies are nearby. However, it’s a pretty useless skill especially once you gain access to the good stuff: Jackpot Shot and Jackpot Triad. Jackpot Shot is a skill that has Ace fire off a laser that damages enemies that come into contact with it. Jackpot Triad is a superior version of Jackpot Shot as it fires off three lasers. These are, hands down, Ace’s best skills as the lasers stay on the field for a decent amount of time and they do good damage against any types of enemies.
You’ll also be able to move around and attack regularly once you’ve set the lasers, making this an incredibly useful ability to have when you’re up against crowds.
The last ability that you should invest in is Wild Card. As if Ace’s cool dodge wasn’t enough, Wild Card literally allows you to teleport to the position of an enemy who’s been struck by a card. If Ace’s homing cards weren’t attractive enough for you, Wild Card should pique your interest a little because it makes him better able to hit those Kill Sights and Break Sights.
Ace is a pretty well rounded character on the whole. Whether you want to use him as a support character or a big damage dealer, Ace will get the job done.
