Voice Recording for Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness Has Begun

Get your Dominators ready. This could be the reason to finally get an Xbox One.

Mages and 5pb. opened a new website for Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness in English just a few weeks ago. Though we haven’t received any official news from the publishers, this definitely looks promising for fans who are eagerly waiting for a localization announcement for this Xbox One exclusive.

It was also revealed on the official 5pb. Twitter account yesterday that the voice recording for Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness had begun. Looks like the game itself is finally starting to take shape and it may not be too long before us English-speaking fans receive news of a localized version as well.

For those who may not be aware, Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness is a visual novel-style game with a story that takes place between certain episodes in season 1 of the anime. The game also introduces three new characters: Alpha, Nadeshiko Kugatachi, and Takuma Tsurugi. The game will also feature the return of popular characters from the anime such as detective Akane Tsunemori, as well as enforcers Shinya Kogami and Yayoi Kunizuka.

Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness is set to be released exclusively for the Xbox One, though a release date has not yet been specified.
