Rockstar Confirms GTA V On PC Will Not Be Delayed

Rockstar responds to forum speculation on GTA V's PC release date.

In a somewhat unusual move, Rockstar confirmed earlier today that the release date for Grand Theft Auto V on PC would indeed be January 27th as announced back in September. This re-confirmation is the result of continual forum speculation on whether or not the PC version of GTA V would experience some kind of delay.

The verification was made in response to an inquiry on Rockstar’s own forums made by user Raceboy1994 earlier this month. The question simply read “gta v PC is delayed?” and the equally short and sweet answer by Scott E. of Rockstar read “GTA V will be coming to PC on January 27th. We have not announced any changes to this date at this time.”

In spite of this somewhat definite reply, there is still uncertainty in the air around GTA V’s PC release. The lack of PC system requirements and definite release dates being posted to Steam are the main causes of concern. For now, all we have to go by is the January 27th release date that we have heard time and time again.
