Holiday time has come, meaning not just the end of finals, but also some good old-fashioned winter gaming. Since we’re all gamers, we thought it’d be good to ask about your favorite gaming moments that happened to occur during the holidays.
N64s were the bomb during the holidays, according to these guys.
And NES’s as well, apparently.
Of course, with the holidays comes Nintendo products and Maaario! Not for this first one, though.
Now we got ourselves a young’un, here.
Ah, good times. Good times.
Remember when Sega made consoles?
Finally, our own Twinfinite staff told us about their holiday times!
Ishmael Romero: “Unwrapping my N64 and playing Mario 64 for 20 hours straight with my brothers.”
Chris Fox: “Christmas 1997, got a PS One with Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy 7. Perfection.”
Chaz Miller: ” I got an NES and Dragon Warrior when I was but a wee lad.”
Yami (!): “I play Warcraft 3 every Christmas day for reasons I no longer remember haha. It’s provided me warmth for over 10 years, so it must have been something important. Weird, but it’s mine.”
James Knack: “Getting my Sega Megadrive (Genesis for you ‘muricans) woke up and went downstairs to find games all in a square around my chair with a poorly wrapped TV and the console. Best. Day. Ever. I was only 5 but I remember the whole day clearly.”
Justin Carter (Hey, that’s me!): “Getting a PS2 when I was 11 years old bundled with Ratchet and Clank 3 and Jak 3. I played the crap out of Ratchet until family came over. It was amazing.”
