Pokemon November Trailer shows off Delta Episode

A new trailer has just surfaced for the upcoming Pokemon Alpha Sapphire/ Omega Ruby pairing showing off a handful of new features and a selection of legendary Pokemon in all their 3D glory.

The first big piece of news within the trailer is the Delta Episode. What it actually is and where it comes during gameplay isn’t quite clear but what will be nestled inside has been unveiled somewhat. Right off the bat we are shown Deoxys before being told that throughout the Delta Episode you’ll be on a mission to save the Hoenn region from a giant asteroid. As it’s a Pokemon game, this obviously includes fighting against Team Magma or Team Aqua in some way, those nefarious little nitwits.

A new mysterious character is also unveiled called Zinna. Nothing is known right now about them but since they appear in the trailer, we can expect Zinnia to play an important role.

Then of course the really shiny stuff shows up to get Pokemon trainers a little excited. A bevy of Legendary Pokemon appear in the closing half of the trailer as well as fan favorites. Alongside the appearance of the aforementioned Deoxys, Mega Rayquaza shows up with the ability to battle in the skies whatever the hell that means. Suicine, Entai and Raikou make their own appearances with another bunch of incredibly awesome looking Pokemon including Heatran and Tornadus.

Just before the end Regice, Regirock, and Registeel pop up as a precursor to the forever epic-looking Regigigas who many – myself included – cannot wait to parade around in 3D form. Right at the closing curtain the trailer also reveals that players who obtained the Special Demo Version of the upcoming game will be able to transfer Glailie from that version to the full release of Pokemon Omega Ruby or Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire are available in North America on November 21st with European territories seeing the release one week later on November 28th.
