The Bradford Animation Festival (BAF) has seen fit to give Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima the first Bradford UNESCO City of Film Award for Cinematography in Video Games.
Anyone familiar with Kojima’s work will know the man favors highly choreographed cut scenes and in-game camera posturing. If anybody deserves the first award for video game cinematography, it is Mr. Kojima. With Metal Gear Solid V and the new Silent Hills both coming out in the future, Hideo Kojima looks to increase further his already impressive contributions to the medium.
