Tom Clancy’s The Division has been delayed to 2015. Ubisoft made the announcement today on the game’s website.
The Division was announced at last year’s E3. The third-person shooter takes place in New York City, as a pandemic is knocking out all basic services to sustain civilization. The player is in control of a Strategic Homeland Division agent, a classified, self-supported tactical agent. It’s the player’s goal to prevent the fall of society.
“The production is getting stronger every day and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been up tp at this year’s E3, :)” reads the post from The Division’s development team.
The Division is being developed for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will be the first to be developed using Ubisoft’s next-gen Snowdrop Engine.
