It’s about time Nintendo gets more aggressive with their advertising. With the release of Mario Kart 8 on the horizon, it would foolish of them to not push the hell out of the game for more sales for the Wii U hardware. Surely, they marketing team has realized this and plans to run the online and television marketing campaign for Mario Kart 8 all the way through to the end of 2014.
Mario Kart Wii remains one of the highest grossing games, and it’s certainly in the company’s best interests to get this latest game out there. It’s a very smart move, and here’s hoping it does wonders for system and software sales. You can pre-order your copy of Mario Kart 8 here before it releases on May 30th. In the meantime, prepare for Kartageddon.
