PlayStation 4 consoles are sold out across the United States, and retailers have released sales numbers. The first machine to help us begin our next-gen journey has sold over one million units so far. This only counts for the US, as it hasn’t released anywhere else yet.
It’s no surprise that they sold out, and aside from some experiencing a ‘blue light of death,’ this has been an extremely smooth launch. I had a chance to play around with a PS4 on launch night, and can say that these sales numbers are definitely warranted. The overhaul of the UI really caught my eye, and the attention to small details that were holding the PS3 back a bit have been addressed. Welcome to…(insert reverb) theee next generaaaation!
